Really inspired by this guy's work and his interpretation of clouds, depth and perspective. Saw him over at Illustration Art blog. Check out more there.
For some reason I feel like I've been here before. I love when something this good falls into my lap out of the galactic interwebs. Artist: Birdy Nam Nam = YEE!+
Supermarket SWEEP!?! That show was the tits, I think they need to bring back a re-make College addition, but no shopping carts allowed. Just imagine a race where people are trying to stuff 30-packs, handles and frozen pizzas into their pants... glorious.
I heard wind of a Rebelution show across the bay while I was recovering from 80's Day Keg over a Sara's quesadilla. I don't know how I managed to pull a kayak to the bay by myself but eventually I found my way out to some friends. The show was epic, then again I was in a kayak... So obviously.
I got an email from my friend Naomi the other day and although i can't read any of it (its all in Japanese), I did find the link at the bottom to discover he's got a new website. Naomi is an incredible artist that I met last summer on my visit to Japan. You can see alot of his work HERE at his website and be sure to click the "news" tab to see his active blog of works.

This event is put on by the group that does the Do Lab @ Coachella, that epic water rave in the middle of the polo fields. They have a festival in the works that is looking to be an epic spirtual/tribal experience with amazing musical performances, art exhibits and their "Temple Of Consciousness". Sounds cool, I'm in. Come get get your party on and still leave balanced, mind body and soul...
With the fantastic reception to the last Temple of Consciousness, we’re thrilled to bring it back for another year. As before, it will host both solo talks and panels, together with various yoga, meditation and other spiritual and health oriented workshops. This years temple will feature new decor by the Satya Yuga collective.
